SOLD 01/2022! These early ones are getting really hard-to-find! A true 1963 with a replacement transformer from 1963 that replaced a defective one under the original warranty wayyy back when. This amp has seen a lot of action but is structurally sound and electronically fantastic. I put in around 30 hours restoring the cabinet and tolex as well as going over everything inside-out and I can tell you this amp delivers. It's got the earlier tube set with (2) 6L6 GC power tubes and (3) 6SL7 preamp tubes. The preamp tubes are original equipment with the Ampeg logo on each one. Imagine still going strong after almost 60 YEARS of steady use!

As I said, one transformer has been replaced with one with the exact same specs but just doesn't have the big metal outer box. Everything else is original and in fine working order. There are numerous small cabinet tears that I didn't touch up because they would look goofy up-close. The dolly is in great shape, too. For a 25-30 watt amp this thing really still puts out the tone that has more than withstood the test of time.
